My favourite C64 game was called "Abnormal Faction", I mean what kind of name is that?!? (See http://www.classicgaming.com/area64/) It had a little knight who avoided smeary bat-like creatures and was exceedingly hard, as if the designer didn't want you to finish the game and find out they hadn't actually made the ending.

I remember they had the C64-SX, or the Commodore 64 Executive, it had a small 5 inch screen. Like a C64 laptop...

I don't know Abnormal Faction... Ill have to check it out... Myyy favourite C64 game is "Mad Doctor". (Here's a review of mad doctor. And you can download it for the freakin-awesome CCS emulator here

In Mad Doctor you must find body parts to complete your experiment of tissue re-animation. Using dug-up bodies from the graveyard is not so good - too old. The best bet is to walk up to residents of the town and bash them to death. Then grab the body and run as fast as you can away from the angry mob.

So cool.

(oh, and to anonymous(1) - nope, no flash just good ol' DHTML, javascript and your-friend-and-mine - an animated gif. I'm going to write a little tutorial for doing this kind of crap at some point.)
